Following on from last month with how to track your website progress, this month I cover using Google Analytics which is much more powerful than the inbuilt Awstats. Once again this is vital for you to know since you can’t improve what you can’t measure.
There were many more questions about using video on your website that I didn’t include in this video, since it was getting rather long.
Forgive the video quality I used a 12 year old video camera to record this (and had trouble getting the video off the camera onto the computer), but the audio is great since I use my trusty Sony MP3 audio recorder.
This is a prime example of the need to have a HD digital video camera with a hard drive and a good zoom in it for those longer than 20 minute video recordings.
Don’t let the technology stop you, just do something and get it out there. You can fine tune it as you go along.
